What Self-Care Activities Have You Participated In This Year?
Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.
February is all about Self-Care. This is your reminder. Self-care is NOT selfish, it is beyond necessary to live your best life! This past Friday, I gave homework to all of our Twitter followers and I am now giving it to you.

Within the next 2 days, stop what you are doing & LISTEN to what your body needs. What is it telling you?! Now, do that.
Take time for SELF-CARE this weekend. Don’t run yourself dry, okay?!🌸

Your body signals to you when it needs things, like food, sleep, water, etc. Don’t ignore it when it also tells you to slow down, breathe, and bathe (I swear, your body definitely tells you when you NEED a bubble bath — you are just not listening!!)
Taking time to breathe and focus on your needs gives you the energy to get more done when you get back to work.
More Self-Care = More Productivity
Spending time on your happiness, telling yourself you are wonderful and amazing, and boosting your thoughts around yourself will increase your self-esteem.
More Self-Care = More CONFIDENCE
Doesn’t it feel great when you compliment someone and make their day? While this is a great feeling, it also takes it out of you – even if you don’t notice. You need to fill yourself up with compliments in order to keep up with complimenting others! You come first!!

How to Practice Self-Care
The second month of my Personal Development & Goals eBook included a Self-Care checklist! Its categories include Emotional, Physical, Every Day and a Shopping list. In the past month, I made sure to complete almost all bullets on the checklist AND added two more of my own under each category.
Under Physical, I added a hair & makeup party because sometimes getting all puuurdy and taking some selfies feels good. I added “talk to a human” under every day which may seem weird but some weekends it’s easy to go a day only talking to Mila and… well, that’s not good enough…
Shopping list was added to this checklist because there is nothing worse than not having the essentials when a self-care night is NEEDED.
